David Stuart Anthony Foster, age 18, son of Gene and Tonya Foster was born January 2, 1991, he was the New Year’s Baby that year in Houston, MO. He passed away May 31, 2009 two weeks after graduating High School.
David is preceded in death by his Grandmother Ida Foster and Uncle Kenny Lay.
He is survived by his parents and one brother Jeremy and wife Shawna, two nephews Austin and Tyler, two nieces Kayla and Janessa of Houston, MO, his grandparents Kenneth and Nadine Lay of Houston, MO, D.L. Foster of Walnut Ridge AR, several aunts and uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
David grew up in Houston and attended First Christian Church. He accepted the Lord as his savior on August 7, 2005. He had the privilege of helping baptize his father on the same day.
He attended Houston School. Was a member of the baseball team, football team, and played basketball for several years.
David loved hanging out with family and friends, playing x-box live with friends on line or at home. Texting was a favorite pastime. Baseball was his favorite sport. He was looking forward to attending college in the fall and playing ball. He enjoyed so many things, working on his car with his Dad or going shopping with his Mother, going floating or camping out with friends. Messin’ with the horses was something he always enjoyed.
He planned to umpire summer ball and was looking forward to going to Omaha with the baseball team again this June. David was loved very much and will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but we know he is playing ball with the Greatest One of all.
