Holly Christine Watson age 39, daughter of Kenneth Thomas Leonard and Carol (Ice) Leonard was born May 27, 1970 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. She passed away August 23, 2009 at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Holly attended High School in Mountain Home, AR, but graduated from Hanau American High School in Hanau, Germany in 1988.
She married David Watson on August 13, 1999 and they had two children.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Elmer Ice and grandparents John and Irene Leonard.
She is survived by her husband David of Fort Belvoir, VA, two children Cody and Meghan both of the home; mother Carol Leonard of Mtn. Home, AR; her father Kenneth Leonard and step-mother Patti Leonard of Killeen, TX; one brother Adam Leonard of Ladera Ranch, CA; Grandmother, Faye Ice of Houston, MO, mother-in-law Judith Watson of Monett, MO, one niece Jaquelyn, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Holly always loved people and had a heart that wanted to reach out and help them. Those desires lead her to become a LPN. She was patient and kind, and especially loved helping children.
Some of Holly’s favorite hobbies were reading and taking care of her animals. Holly enjoyed animals and had several pets over the years.
Holly loved her family and friends and had fun times with them. Holly was a Christian. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
