Alice. V. Plowman-Ommert the daughter of Guy L. Hartman and Ellen Lynch Hartman was born September 27, 1934 in Summersville, MO, and went to her Heavenly home Saturday May 30, 2009 making her age 74 years 8 months and 3 days.
Patty was united in marriage to Charles Plowman, April 11, 1952 making their union 37 years before his passing. To their union three sons were born, Charles, Douglas and Steven. She married Elden Ommert, January 1991 making their union 10 years before his passing.
Patty was a home maker and very active. She loved quilting, square dancing and fishing. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Houston. She attended the North side Baptist Church in Houston.
Patty and Bob lived in Summersville where they raised their family, after his passing she moved to the Raymondville and Houston area. There she met and married Elden Ommert.
Preceding Patty in death are her parents, Guy and Ellen Hartman; her husbands Charles Plowman and Elden Ommert, 1 sister Ruth Brooks, 6 brothers, Royce Hartman, Eugene Hartman, John Hartman, Harbert Hartman, David Hartman and Earl Hartman.
Surviving are her three sons, Charles Plowman of Summersville, MO; Doug and Kim Plowman of Pacific, MO; Steve and Melissa Plowman of Summersville, MO; 5 grandchildren, Jayci Clayton, Nicole Plowman, Douglas Paul Plowman, Tyler Plowman, Wyatt Plowman, one great grandson Michael Jay Clayton, 1 sister, Betty Rees and husband Denver of Springfield, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Services were held Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 2 Pm at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Atchison officiating. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery near Summersville under the care of Bradford Funeral Home of Summersville.
