Walter "Walt" Billy Ingle, 66, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at his home in Licking.
He was born May 4, 1943, in Brilliant, Ala., son of Austin and Hattie Ingle. He married Hazel Rosetta Gale Ingle.
He made his living in the woods and enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and tinkering with automobiles. He loved visiting with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Hansel and Edsel; a daughter, Vallery Jean Dickens; and a great-grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel; two children, James Lee Ingle and Joyce Marie Ingle Chapman; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Lois Kimbrell of Florida; two brothers, J.W. of Alabama and Edward of Nevada; and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at Disciples Fellowship Church in Licking under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
