Paula Irene Boone Robertson, 65, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla., following a long battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
She was born Oct. 19, 1943, in Tuscaloosa, Ala., daughter of Isaac Morgan and Irma Marie Golightly Boone.
Her family grew up in a small farm outside Cabool. She lived in Alabama and Germany before settling in Pinnellas County, Florida.
She graduated from high school in Tuscaloosa, Ala. She enjoyed being a mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca M. Robertson Mitchell of Houston and Panthea E. Robertson of Charlotte, N.C.; two grandsons and a great-granddaughter of Houston.
