Nancy “Baby” Jean (Blount) Walser, age 55, daughter of Gene & Lilalea (McKensie) Blount was born March 23, 1954 in Pecos, TX. She passed away July 30, 2009 at her home in Yukon, MO.
She grew up in Pecos, TX. Nancy married Roger Dale Walser April 30, 1973 and to this union 6 children were born. They moved to Yukon, MO in August 1979 and made their home there for 30 years.
Nancy is preceded in death by her grandparents.
She is survived by her husband Roger Walser of the home in Yukon, MO, 6 children; Jamye Dale Walser and wife Rejeanna of Republic, MO, Melissa Ann Phillips and husband Cecil “Pistol” of Yukon, MO, Cassie Ann Brown and fiancée Joseph Barton of Wichita, KS, Tessa Anne Walser of Yukon, Mo, Damon Leon Walser and wife Jimmie of Houston, MO and Miranda Jean Walser and fiancée Chris Ramsey of Yukon, MO, 10 grandchildren; 7 girls and 3 boys, another grandchild on the way, and a great-grandson on the way, parents; Gene & Lilalea Blount of Pecos, TX, 3 brothers; Randy Blount of Pecos, TX, Richard Blount of Qatar, Nolan Blount of Pecos, TX, 2 sisters; Jackie Hunter of Mathif, TX and Sandra Hendricks of Odessa, TX and her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Nancy loved flower gardening, puzzles and reading, but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren and children. She believed in the Lord’s grace and was a Christian.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
